George Wilson (footballer, born 1883)
George Wilson (born in Ayr, Scotland, in 1883, date of death unknown) was a Scottish professional footballer who played primarily as a full back.
Wilson began his career in Scottish junior football before moving to England to join Tottenham Hotspur in 1907. He made a handful of appearances for the Spurs first team. After a brief spell at Tottenham, Wilson joined Millwall Athletic (later Millwall) in 1908, where he spent a more significant portion of his career. He became a regular in the Millwall side, contributing to their defensive efforts.
His playing career is documented through club records of the period, although detailed individual statistics are often incomplete for that era. Information about his post-football life is scarce. Further research would be required to provide a more comprehensive biography.
