Kengere

Kengere is a Swahili word meaning "guinea fowl." Guinea fowl are birds of the family Numididae, in the order Galliformes (which also includes chickens, turkeys, quails, and pheasants). They are native to Africa. Kengere are known for their distinctive appearance, characterized by a bare head and neck, often brightly colored, and a body covered in small, white-spotted plumage. They are ground-nesting birds and are typically found in flocks. They are often hunted for food and are also sometimes domesticated.
