George Hawkins (politician)

George Hawkins is an American politician. He served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 8, which encompasses parts of Baltimore County, from 1995 to 2003. During his tenure in the House of Delegates, Hawkins served on the House Appropriations Committee. He was also involved in various subcommittees related to transportation and education.

Hawkins unsuccessfully sought election to the Maryland State Senate in 2002. Following his time in the legislature, he remained active in local political and community affairs.
