Gautama Buddha (film)

Gautama Buddha is a 1957 Indian documentary film directed by Rajbans Khanna. The film chronicles the life of Siddhartha Gautama, who later became the Buddha. It covers his birth, early life of luxury, his renunciation and search for enlightenment, his attainment of Buddhahood, and his subsequent teachings and parinirvana (death).

The film is notable for its use of locations in India and Nepal that are historically significant in the Buddha's life.
