Gârbova
Gârbova is a commune located in Alba County, Transylvania, Romania. It is situated in the foothills of the Apuseni Mountains.
The commune comprises four villages: Cărpeniş, Gârbova, Reciu, and Şuru.
Historically, the area has been associated with agriculture and animal husbandry. The local economy is still largely based on these sectors, although tourism is also developing, particularly due to the proximity to the mountains.
