Jeremiah Brown (rower)
Jeremiah Brown (born November 25, 1985) is a Canadian rower. He was a member of the Canadian men's eight team that won a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Brown was a latecomer to the sport of rowing, having previously been a football player. He was recruited to rowing through RBC Training Ground, a program designed to identify Olympic talent. He joined the national team in 2011 and quickly progressed to become a key member of the eight.
His Olympic silver medal represents a significant achievement, given his relatively short time in the sport. Beyond his athletic accomplishments, Brown is also a motivational speaker and advocate for overcoming adversity and pursuing ambitious goals.
