Fulltone
Fulltone was a manufacturer of boutique guitar effects pedals, amplifiers, and guitars, founded by Michael Fuller in the early 1990s. The company was known for its meticulous attention to detail, use of high-quality components, and recreations of classic vintage effects, as well as its own original designs.
Fulltone pedals gained popularity among guitarists of various genres for their warm, organic tones and robust build quality. Some of the company's most well-known products included the OCD (Overdrive/Clean Drive), the Fulldrive series (overdrive pedals), the Deja Vibe (Univibe clone), and the Supa-Trem (tremolo pedal).
In addition to pedals, Fulltone also produced limited runs of amplifiers and guitars, reflecting Fuller's dedication to vintage designs and tone.
The company faced controversy and ultimately ceased operations in 2022, following accusations against Michael Fuller regarding his personal conduct and controversial political views, leading to widespread boycotts and a significant decline in sales. The brand's assets were subsequently acquired.
