Fred Grant (gridiron football)

Fred Grant (born August 30, 1978) is a former professional gridiron football defensive tackle. He played in the National Football League (NFL) and the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Grant played college football at Tuskegee University.

In the NFL, Grant played for the New Orleans Saints from 2003 to 2008, and for the St. Louis Rams in 2009. He was a key member of the Saints' defensive line during his time with the team.

After his NFL career, Grant played for the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL in 2011. He was released during the season.
