Aman Nath

Aman Nath (born February 2, 1951) is an Indian hotelier, heritage conservationist, and writer. He is best known as the co-founder, along with Francis Wacziarg, of the Neemrana Hotels group, which restores and converts heritage properties into luxury hotels.

Nath played a significant role in pioneering the heritage hotel concept in India, rescuing neglected historical buildings, particularly forts and palaces, and adapting them for tourism. This approach not only preserved these structures but also created economic opportunities in the surrounding areas. Neemrana's first property, Neemrana Fort-Palace near Delhi, is a prime example of this restoration philosophy.

Beyond his work with Neemrana Hotels, Nath is also a writer and poet. He has authored several books on Indian art, history, and culture, often focusing on themes of identity and belonging. He is a recipient of several awards for his contributions to tourism and heritage conservation, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Tourism Guild of India. He is considered a significant figure in the Indian tourism industry and a champion of sustainable and responsible tourism practices.
