Franky (One Piece)

Franky is the shipwright of the Straw Hat Pirates in the manga and anime series One Piece, created by Eiichiro Oda. Born as Cutty Flam, he is a cyborg and a key member of the crew, responsible for building and maintaining the Thousand Sunny, their current ship.

Character Overview:

Franky is known for his eccentric personality, flamboyant style, and superhuman strength. He is often seen wearing speedos and possessing a "SUUUUPER!" catchphrase. He is a resourceful and skilled craftsman, capable of building complex machinery and weapons.

Background:

Cutty Flam was abandoned by his parents and taken in by Tom, a fish-man shipwright who also mentored the future pirate captain Gol D. Roger. He learned the art of shipbuilding and created powerful battle ships. His mentor was framed for the crimes committed by the World Government and Franky attempted to stop the Sea Train, Puffing Tom, from transporting Tom to Enies Lobby. He was severely injured in the process and rebuilt himself using scrap metal, becoming a cyborg.

Role in the Straw Hat Crew:

Franky joined the Straw Hat Pirates after the Enies Lobby arc, becoming their shipwright. He is responsible for the upkeep of the Thousand Sunny, implementing its various features, including the Coup de Burst, a feature allowing the ship to travel a great distance instantly. He participates in battles, using his cyborg body to fight enemies, often deploying various weapons and modifications built into his body. He is fiercely loyal to his crewmates and values friendship above all else.

As a cyborg, Franky possesses immense physical strength, durability, and a vast array of weapons integrated into his body. These include:
