Fortitude (TV series)

Fortitude is a British psychological thriller television series created and written by Simon Donald. The series premiered on Sky Atlantic in the United Kingdom on January 29, 2015, and on Pivot in the United States on the same day.

The series is set in the fictional Arctic settlement of Fortitude, Svalbard, Norway. Fortitude is portrayed as one of the safest towns on Earth, a place where violent crime is virtually unknown. The community is tightly knit, populated by a diverse group of scientists, researchers, and locals drawn together by the promise of groundbreaking scientific discoveries and the stunning natural beauty of the Arctic landscape.

The narrative begins when a brutal murder shatters the peace and tranquility of Fortitude.
