River Yarrow (Lancashire)

The River Yarrow is a river located in Lancashire, England. It rises on Anglezarke Moor in the West Pennine Moors and flows generally westwards. It flows through the Yarrow Valley, passing through the villages of Anglezarke, White Coppice, and Coppull.

The river flows into the eastern end of Yarrow Valley Park and then through Chorley town centre, where it is partially culverted. Below Chorley, it flows through more rural areas before joining the River Douglas near Croston.

The Yarrow is relatively small but has historically been important for industry, providing water power for mills. It is also a feature of the local landscape and is used for recreational activities such as angling and walking. There are several reservoirs along the river's course used for water supply.
