John Finn (politician)

John Finn (born in County Limerick, Ireland; died 1899 in Chicago, Illinois) was an Irish-American politician who served as an alderman in Chicago, Illinois, representing the 10th Ward. Finn immigrated to the United States and became involved in Chicago politics, particularly within the Irish-American community. He was a prominent figure in local Democratic Party circles. His tenure as alderman saw him advocate for infrastructure improvements and the interests of his constituents in the 10th Ward, which contained a significant Irish immigrant population. He died while still in office in 1899.
