Hal Daub
Hal Daub (born October 22, 1941) is an American businessman and politician from Omaha, Nebraska. He served as a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives for Nebraska's 2nd congressional district from 1981 to 1989.
Prior to his congressional service, Daub worked as a professor of law at Creighton University.
During his time in Congress, Daub served on the House Ways and Means Committee. His legislative focus included tax policy and Social Security reform.
After leaving Congress, Daub pursued a career in business, focusing on real estate development. He has also remained active in Republican politics and community affairs in Nebraska.
Daub has been involved in various public and private sector initiatives aimed at economic development and community improvement in Omaha. He continues to reside in Omaha, Nebraska.
