Flintshire (horse)

Flintshire was a French-bred, British-trained Thoroughbred racehorse best known for his international success. He was foaled on March 25, 2010. Flintshire was a consistent performer at the highest level, competing primarily in Group 1/Grade 1 races across the globe.

Flintshire was owned by Khalid Abdullah's Juddmonte Farms and trained by André Fabre. He was known for his stamina and versatility, performing well on both turf and synthetic surfaces.

Key accomplishments in Flintshire's racing career include wins in the Hong Kong Vase (2014), the Sword Dancer Stakes (2015), the Woodford Reserve Turf Classic Stakes (2016), and the Manhattan Stakes (2016). He also achieved numerous placings in prestigious races, including the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (second in 2014 and 2015), the Breeders' Cup Turf (second in 2014 and 2016), and the Dubai Sheema Classic (second in 2015).

Following his racing career, Flintshire retired to stud at Hill 'n' Dale Farms in Lexington, Kentucky. His progeny are now competing in races.
