Eric Ramírez (footballer, born 1998)
Eric Daniel Ramírez Padilla (born November 20, 1998) is a Venezuelan professional footballer who plays as a forward for Atlético Nacional and the Venezuela national team.
Career
Ramírez began his professional career in Venezuela, playing for Estudiantes de Caracas. He demonstrated promise early on, attracting attention for his goal-scoring ability and technical skills. He subsequently played for other Venezuelan clubs, including Zamora FC, where he further developed his game and gained experience in continental competitions.
In 2021, he moved abroad to join Ukrainian Premier League club Dynamo Kyiv. However, his time at Dynamo Kyiv was affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
Following his stint in Ukraine, Ramírez joined ŠK Slovan Bratislava in Slovakia.
In 2024, he transferred to Atlético Nacional in Colombia.
International Career
Ramírez has represented Venezuela at various youth levels before making his debut for the senior national team. He has been capped several times for La Vinotinto, participating in international friendlies and qualifying matches for major tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup.
