Double Shot (ride)

A Double Shot is a type of amusement ride manufactured by S&S - Sansei Technologies. It is a compressed air launch tower ride, falling into the broader category of vertical accelerator rides. Riders are seated within a carrier that is rapidly propelled upwards along a vertical tower by a sudden burst of compressed air. After reaching the top of the tower, the carrier descends in a controlled, free-fall motion. The ride cycle typically includes one or more upward launches followed by the free-fall descent.
