Destination X (2005)
Destination X (2005) was the inaugural Destination X professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), now known as Impact Wrestling. It took place on March 13, 2005, at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. The main event featured a singles match between Jeff Jarrett and Diamond Dallas Page for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Other prominent matches on the card included a Six Sides of Steel Cage match between America's Most Wanted and Team Canada (Bobby Roode and Eric Young), and a singles match between Monty Brown and Abyss. Destination X (2005) is notable for being the first PPV in the Destination X series, which became an annual event for TNA/Impact Wrestling, often highlighting the "X Division" of the promotion.
