Desolation Angels (album)

Desolation Angels is the fourth studio album by the British hard rock band Bad Company, released in March 1979. It represents a shift in the band's sound, incorporating synthesizers and experimenting with more polished production, a departure from their earlier blues-rock oriented style.

The album was recorded at Ridge Farm Studios in Surrey, England, and mixed at Criteria Studios in Miami, Florida. It reached number 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and spawned the hit singles "Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy" and "Gone, Gone, Gone." The album also featured a cover of the Coasters' song "Young Blood."

Despite its commercial success, Desolation Angels received mixed reviews from critics at the time. Some praised the band's experimentation and polished sound, while others criticized the album for being too commercial and lacking the raw energy of their earlier work.
