Ted Johnson (politician)

Ted Johnson is an American politician. He served as a Democratic member of the South Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 123. Johnson was first elected in a special election held in January 2020, succeeding Bill Herbkersman. He represented portions of Beaufort County, South Carolina, including Bluffton and Hilton Head Island. He was defeated in the 2022 general election. His legislative priorities focused on issues such as education, environmental protection, and infrastructure improvements within his district. He also served on various House committees during his tenure.
