Ollastra

Ollastra is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Oristano in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 90 kilometres (56 miles) north of Cagliari and about 15 kilometres (9 miles) northeast of Oristano.

Ollastra borders the following municipalities: Fordongianus, Paulilatino, Siamaggiore, Simaxis, Villanova Truschedu, Zerfaliu.

The economy of Ollastra is primarily agricultural. The area is known for its production of artichokes, olives, and grapes, used to make local wines. Small-scale animal husbandry is also practiced.
