Tom Rapp

Tom Rapp (August 8, 1947 – February 5, 2018) was an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. He was the leader of the psychedelic folk band Pearls Before Swine from 1965 to 1972. Following the band's dissolution, Rapp embarked on a solo career, releasing several albums in the 1970s. His music is characterized by its surreal and often dark lyrics, unconventional song structures, and distinctive vocal style. Rapp's work is often associated with the counterculture movement and has gained a cult following over the years. He briefly practiced law before returning to music in the late 1990s, releasing new albums and performing occasionally until his death.
