Marc Gené

Marc Gené (born December 29, 1973) is a Spanish professional racing driver. He is best known for his Formula One career, driving for Minardi (1999-2000) and Williams (2004, as a replacement driver). He also served as a test driver for Ferrari from 2005 to 2024, being one of their longest serving members.

Gené won the 1998 Open Fortuna by Nissan championship. In 2009, he won the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Peugeot, sharing the driving duties with David Brabham and Alexander Wurz. He has continued to compete in endurance racing, participating in various GT and LMP events.

Gené provides commentary on Formula One races for Spanish television. He is the older brother of Jordi Gené, who is also a racing driver. His career includes extensive experience in different racing categories, solidifying his position as a respected figure in motorsport.
