David McKenzie (cyclist)

David McKenzie (born August 13, 1974) is an Australian former professional cyclist. McKenzie competed in both road and track cycling events. He represented Australia at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, participating in the Madison event alongside Michael Rogers. He also won a gold medal in the team pursuit at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur. In road cycling, McKenzie achieved notable results including stage wins in various European races and consistently strong performances in Australian national championships. Following his retirement from professional cycling, McKenzie has remained involved in the sport, working in coaching and cycling-related businesses.
