David Martin (footballer, born 1964)

David Martin (born 28 August 1964) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a defender.

Martin began his career with Dundee United, making his debut in 1983. He spent over a decade with the club, winning the Scottish Cup in 1994 and reaching the UEFA Cup Final in 1987. He made over 300 appearances in all competitions for Dundee United.

After leaving Dundee United in 1995, Martin joined Raith Rovers. He later played for Forfar Athletic before retiring from professional football.

He also represented Scotland at under-21 level.
