David González (footballer, born 1982)

David González Giraldo (born July 20, 1982) is a retired Colombian professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper.

Career

González began his professional career in Colombia with Deportivo Cali. He also played for Independiente Medellín, Atlético Bucaramanga, and Barnsley in England. He spent several years in Turkey, representing clubs such as Çaykur Rizespor and Alanyaspor. He returned to Colombia to play for Deportivo Pasto before retiring.

International Career

González was capped several times for the Colombian national team. He represented Colombia in several international competitions, including the Copa América.
