David Black (Canadian football)
David Black (born July 10, 1989) is a former professional Canadian football wide receiver. He played college football at the University of Delaware, where he was a standout player.
Black was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the second round (15th overall) of the 2012 CFL Draft. He played for the Alouettes from 2012 to 2015 and again in 2019. He also spent time with the Edmonton Eskimos (later Elks) from 2016 to 2018.
Throughout his CFL career, Black was known for his size, reliable hands, and ability to make contested catches. He recorded several seasons with significant receiving yardage and touchdowns. He retired from professional football following the 2019 season.
