David Adams (tennis)

David Adams (born January 5, 1970) is a former professional tennis player from South Africa. He specialized in doubles, achieving significant success on the ATP Tour.

Adams reached a career-high doubles ranking of World No. 9 in October 1994. He won 19 ATP Tour doubles titles, partnering with players such as Andrei Olhovskiy, John-Laffnie de Jager, and Marius Barnard.

He reached the final of the Australian Open men's doubles in 1998 with Joshua Eagle, losing to Jonas Björkman and Jacco Eltingh. He also reached the final of the US Open mixed doubles in 1999 with John-Laffnie de Jager, losing to Mahesh Bhupathi and Ai Sugiyama.

Adams represented South Africa in the Davis Cup and at the Olympic Games.
