Dantu (crater)
Dantu is a small lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon. It is located within the heavily cratered terrain to the southwest of the large crater Gagarin. To the southwest of Dantu is the crater Barabashov, and to the northeast is Ventris.
Dantu is a relatively unremarkable crater, with a circular, bowl-shaped form. The rim is only slightly eroded, and there are no significant impacts overlapping the rim or within the interior. The inner walls slope down uniformly to the small floor. It lacks a central peak or other significant features.
Due to its location on the far side of the Moon, Dantu is not visible from Earth.
