Lou Dobbs
Lou Dobbs (born September 24, 1945) is an American political commentator, author, and former television and radio host. He is known for his strong opinions on issues such as immigration, trade, and globalization, often expressing views considered to be populist and nationalist.
Dobbs began his career in journalism with various roles, including working at KTLA-TV in Los Angeles. He is best known for his long tenure at CNN, where he hosted various business and news programs, most notably Moneyline (later Lou Dobbs Tonight). He left CNN in 2009.
He subsequently joined Fox Business Network, where he hosted Lou Dobbs Tonight until his departure in February 2021. His show was known for its conservative viewpoint and coverage of Donald Trump's presidency.
Dobbs has authored several books, including "War on the Middle Class" and "Space: The Next Business Frontier." He has been a controversial figure throughout his career, facing accusations of spreading misinformation and promoting conspiracy theories.
