Dan Sweeney (footballer)

Daniel Sweeney (born 14 September 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Eastleigh.

Career

Sweeney began his career at AFC Wimbledon, progressing through their youth system. He made his senior debut for the club in August 2012. He spent time on loan at Eastbourne Borough and Hayes & Yeading United to gain first-team experience.

Following his departure from AFC Wimbledon, Sweeney joined Barnet in 2016. He then moved to Crawley Town in 2018.

In July 2022, Sweeney signed for Forest Green Rovers.

In July 2023, he signed for Eastleigh.
