Dan Collins (footballer)

Dan Collins is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).

Collins was drafted by Hawthorn with pick 20 in the 2006 AFL Draft from the Eastern Ranges in the TAC Cup. A key position player, Collins was known for his strong marking ability and athleticism.

He made his AFL debut in 2007 and played a handful of games over the next few seasons, struggling to cement a regular spot in the Hawthorn side. He was delisted by Hawthorn at the end of the 2010 season.

Following his delisting, Collins returned to play local football. Details of his post-AFL career are limited.
