Damir Burić (footballer)

Damir Burić (born 17 October 1980) is a Croatian professional football manager and former player.

As a player, Burić primarily played as a centre-back. He began his professional career with NK Osijek in Croatia. He spent a significant portion of his playing career in Germany, playing for clubs such as Bayer Leverkusen II, SC Freiburg II, Wacker Burghausen, and SpVgg Greuther Fürth. He also played for Croatian clubs HNK Hajduk Split and HNK Šibenik.

Burić transitioned into coaching after retiring from playing. He has managed various clubs, including Croatian side HNK Hajduk Split on multiple occasions. He is known for his tactical approach and his commitment to developing young players. His managerial career has been characterized by periods of success and challenges, and he has established himself as a recognized figure in Croatian football management. He has also held coaching positions in other countries.
