Cremyll
Cremyll is a village in southeast Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It lies on the west bank of the River Tamar, opposite the city of Plymouth in Devon. Historically, Cremyll was significant as the western terminus of the Cremyll ferry, a passenger ferry service connecting Cornwall to Plymouth, dating back centuries. The ferry provides an important link, avoiding a lengthy road journey via the Tamar Bridge or Torpoint Ferry. Cremyll is part of the civil parish of Maker-with-Rame. The area surrounding Cremyll features Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park, a historic estate and extensive parkland. Economically, Cremyll relies on tourism related to the park, the ferry service, and its scenic coastal location.
