Mobile (band)
Mobile is a Canadian rock band from Montreal, Quebec. Formed in 2005, the band is composed of Mathieu Joly (vocals), Christian Brault (guitar), Pierre-Marc Hamelin (drums), Dominic Viola (bass), and Frank Williamson (guitar).
Mobile gained significant attention with their debut album, Tomorrow Starts Today, released in 2006. The album featured the singles "Montreal Calling", "Out of My Head", and "See Right Through Me", which achieved considerable radio airplay and helped the band establish a national presence in Canada. Their music blends elements of alternative rock, pop, and indie rock, characterized by catchy melodies and energetic performances.
The band released their second album, Tales from the City, in 2008. While it received positive reviews, it didn't achieve the same commercial success as their debut.
Mobile has toured extensively across Canada and internationally, sharing the stage with notable acts and performing at various music festivals. They are known for their engaging live shows and strong connection with their audience.
While relatively quiet in recent years, Mobile remains a recognized name in the Canadian music scene, remembered for their contribution to the mid-2000s indie rock landscape.
