Hilcrhyme
Hilcrhyme is a Japanese hip-hop duo formed in Niigata, Japan in 2006. The group consists of TOC (MC) and DJ KATSU (DJ). They are known for their melodic and lyrical style, blending rap with J-pop influences.
Hilcrhyme gained mainstream popularity with their 2009 single "Shunkashūtō" (春夏秋冬, meaning "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter"), which topped the Oricon charts. Their music often explores themes of love, loss, hope, and everyday life, resonating with a wide audience.
Since their debut, Hilcrhyme has released numerous albums and singles, consistently charting within the top ranks of Japanese music charts. They have toured extensively throughout Japan and have also performed internationally. The duo continues to be an influential force in the Japanese hip-hop scene.
