Allie X

Allie X (born Alexandra Ashley Hughes on July 31, 1985) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and visual artist. She began her career as an indie pop artist in Toronto before relocating to Los Angeles and adopting the stage name Allie X.

Allie X is known for her synth-pop sound, often characterized by dark, atmospheric production and introspective lyrics exploring themes of identity, love, and mental health. She frequently incorporates elements of performance art and visual aesthetics into her projects.

Her debut extended play, CollXtion I, was released in 2015, followed by her debut studio album, CollXtion II, in 2017. Other notable projects include Super Sunset (2018), Cape God (2020), and Girl With No Face (2024). Allie X has also co-written songs for other artists, including Troye Sivan and Lea Michele.

Throughout her career, Allie X has cultivated a dedicated fanbase, often referred to as "X's." Her music has garnered critical acclaim for its originality, artistic vision, and emotional depth.
