Cornufer

Cornufer is a genus of frogs in the family Ceratobatrachidae, a family found in the Philippines, Palau, and Melanesia. These frogs are typically small to medium in size and are often associated with forest habitats. The taxonomy of this group has been subject to revisions, with some species previously classified in other genera, such as Platymantis. Species within the Cornufer genus exhibit a range of reproductive strategies, including direct development, where the frogs hatch as froglets, bypassing the tadpole stage.
