Come to Life (Natalie Imbruglia album)
Come to Life is the fourth studio album by Australian singer-songwriter Natalie Imbruglia, released in the United Kingdom on October 2, 2009, and in Australia on May 28, 2010. It was Imbruglia's first album release in four years, following 2005's Counting Down the Days.
The album was produced by Ben Hillier, who had previously worked with Blur and Elbow. It features collaborations with a variety of songwriters and producers, including Jamie Scott, Crispin Hunt, and Shep Solomon. Musically, Come to Life explores a diverse range of styles, incorporating elements of alternative rock, pop, and electronica.
The album spawned two singles: "Want" and "Wild About It". "Want" was released as the lead single in September 2009 and received moderate success in Europe. "Wild About It" followed in February 2010, though it did not achieve significant chart placement.
Come to Life received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising Imbruglia's experimentation and others criticizing the album's lack of focus. Commercially, the album was not as successful as Imbruglia's previous efforts. It reached number 67 on the UK Albums Chart and number 46 on the Australian Albums Chart.
