Allahqoli

Allahqoli was the Khan of Khwarazm from 1825 to 1842. He belonged to the Qongrat dynasty that ruled Khwarazm (also known as Khiva) from the late 18th century. His reign was characterized by efforts to consolidate power within the khanate, maneuvering against rival factions and neighboring powers such as the Emirate of Bukhara. He faced internal rebellions and external pressures, navigating a complex geopolitical landscape. While his rule maintained a degree of stability for Khwarazm, it was also marked by autocratic tendencies and a focus on securing his own position. Historical sources often depict Allahqoli as a shrewd but ruthless leader. He was succeeded by his son, Rakhimquli.
