Cole Green (baseball)

Cole Green (born January 28, 1988) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played college baseball at the University of Texas at Austin.

Green was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 12th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft. He pitched in the Tigers organization from 2010 to 2014, reaching as high as the Triple-A level with the Toledo Mud Hens. He primarily served as a starting pitcher during his time in the minor leagues. Following his release from the Tigers, he signed with the Kansas City Royals organization in 2015 and played for their Double-A affiliate, the Northwest Arkansas Naturals. He last played professional baseball in 2015.
