Litwa (newspaper)
Litwa was a Polish-language daily newspaper published in Vilnius (Wilno), then part of the Russian Empire, from 1908 to 1915. It served as the main organ of the Polish national movement in Lithuania and played a significant role in shaping public opinion among the Polish-speaking population of the region. The newspaper covered a wide range of topics, including politics, economics, culture, and social issues, with a particular focus on matters relevant to the Polish community. Litwa advocated for Polish cultural and political autonomy within the Russian Empire and later supported Polish independence. The newspaper ceased publication during World War I.
