Clean Slate (1994 film)
Clean Slate is a 1994 American comedy film directed by Mick Jackson and starring Dana Carvey. The film follows Maurice Pogue (Dana Carvey), a private investigator with a rare form of amnesia. Every morning, Pogue wakes up with no memory of the previous day.
The plot centers around Pogue being the key witness in a major mob case. He is tasked with identifying a mob boss, but due to his amnesia, he must piece together clues and information each day to fulfill his task and stay alive. The film revolves around the comedic situations that arise from Pogue's memory loss, and his attempts to navigate a dangerous situation while constantly forgetting his progress.
