Jimmy Gardner (footballer)

Jimmy Gardner was a Scottish professional footballer who played as an inside forward.

Gardner began his career with Benburb before moving to England to join Blackpool in 1924. He made a handful of appearances for Blackpool before returning to Scotland. He then signed for Clyde, where he spent the majority of his career.

Gardner was known for his skillful play and ability to score goals. He was a popular player with the Clyde fans and helped the team to several successes during his time there. He later played for Dumbarton, finishing his senior career.
