Charles Devlin
Charles Devlin (1882-1949) was a Canadian politician and physician. He served as a Liberal Member of Parliament for Charlevoix—Saguenay in the House of Commons of Canada from 1921 to 1930 and again from 1935 to 1949. He was the son of Charles Ramsay Devlin, also a Member of Parliament.
Devlin graduated from Laval University with a degree in medicine and practiced as a physician in Chicoutimi before entering federal politics. During his time in Parliament, he was a strong advocate for the interests of his constituency, particularly concerning issues related to agriculture, fisheries, and transportation infrastructure. He served on various parliamentary committees.
He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.
