Clay Jenkins

Clay Jenkins is an American politician serving as the County Judge of Dallas County, Texas. He is the chief executive of the county government and presides over the Dallas County Commissioners Court.

Jenkins, a Democrat, was first elected County Judge in 2010 and has been re-elected subsequently. Prior to becoming County Judge, he worked as a lawyer.

As County Judge, Jenkins is responsible for managing the county's budget, overseeing county departments, and coordinating emergency response efforts. He has been particularly prominent during public health crises, notably the Ebola outbreak in 2014 and the COVID-19 pandemic, where he implemented various measures to mitigate the spread of disease and provide support to residents.
