Charles Shannon (ice hockey)

Charles Shannon (born August 24, 1914, Stratford, Ontario, Canada; died March 24, 1994, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. Shannon played as a left winger.

Shannon's professional career spanned from 1934 to 1949. He played primarily in the American Hockey League (AHL), most notably for the Hershey Bears. During his time with the Bears, he was a key player and contributed significantly to the team's success. He also played for the Cleveland Barons and the Philadelphia Rockets in the AHL.

Before turning professional, Shannon played junior hockey in Ontario. Following his playing career, he remained involved in hockey as a coach. He is remembered as a respected and skilled player from the early days of professional hockey in North America.
