Charles R. Miller (general)
Charles R. Miller (born August 13, 1937) is a retired United States Air Force general. He served as Commander, Air Force Logistics Command (COMAFLC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, from July 1992 to July 1995.
General Miller graduated from the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York, in 1959. He earned a master's degree in business administration from Auburn University in 1972. He completed Air Command and Staff College in 1972 and Air War College in 1980.
During his career, Miller held various command and staff positions, including assignments with the Tactical Air Command, the United States Air Forces in Europe, and Headquarters U.S. Air Force. He commanded the 363rd Tactical Fighter Wing at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, and the Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. Before commanding AFLC, he was Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics, Headquarters U.S. Air Force.
His decorations include the Distinguished Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, and the Meritorious Service Medal.
He retired from the Air Force on July 1, 1995.
