Xu Huiqin

Xu Huiqin (徐惠琴, born c. 1963) is a prominent Chinese materials scientist specializing in polymer chemistry and physics, particularly related to advanced functional polymer materials. She is a professor at Fudan University in Shanghai and is known for her research contributions to the synthesis, characterization, and applications of stimuli-responsive polymers, polymers for biomedical applications, and high-performance polymer composites.

Professor Xu received her bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Anhui Normal University and her PhD from Fudan University. She has held visiting scholar positions at institutions in Europe and the United States. Her research focuses on developing new polymer materials with tailored properties for applications in areas such as drug delivery, tissue engineering, sensors, and advanced coatings. She has published extensively in leading international journals in her field and holds several patents related to her inventions.

Xu Huiqin's work is recognized nationally and internationally through various awards and honors. She has served on the editorial boards of several prominent journals in polymer science.
