Cascadian (train)
The Cascadian is an Amtrak passenger train service operating between Seattle, Washington, and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is a high-frequency corridor service primarily serving destinations within the Pacific Northwest. The Cascadian operates multiple daily round trips and is known for its comfortable seating, onboard amenities, and scenic views of the Cascade Mountains and Puget Sound. It connects major cities such as Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Bellingham, and Vancouver, providing a convenient transportation option for both business and leisure travelers. The service is jointly supported by the states of Washington and Oregon through their respective departments of transportation, with additional funding from the Province of British Columbia. Amtrak operates the service under contract. The train utilizes a fleet of specially branded Talgo trainsets designed for improved ride quality and accessibility.
